Biography

Hailing from the vibrant city of Los Angeles, California, Ahteana “Katie” Jones is a dedicated 7th/8th grade Social Studies teacher, but her passions extend far beyond the classroom. Ahteana’s journey into the world of motorcycles began just two years ago, spurred by a deeply personal motivation. The loss of her little brother in 2021 brought profound changes to her life, and she sought a meaningful outlet for her emotions. The world of motorcycles became her sanctuary during a time of grief and change.

Ahteana’s passion for motorcycles became a driving force in her life. As her love for riding grew, she acquired a 2022 Road-King Special, known as “Medusa,” that captured her heart. She dedicated herself to learning, improving, and building her bike from scratch, completing it in less than three months. The motorcycle world had ignited her passion and provided her with a sense of purpose. The positive response and love she received for her custom build inspired Ahteana to share her journey and opened doors for other opportunities. Motivated by the overwhelming love and support she receives from her community, she aims to be a voice for others and to lead by example.
